State Sen. Dave Syverson (R-Cherry Valley), State Rep. Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore), and State Rep. Joe Sosnowski (R-Rockford) are collaborating with the Illinois Tollway to assist motorists in updating their I-PASS technology from plastic transponders to Sticker Tags.

The I-PASS ON DEMAND event is scheduled for August 13, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Village Hall located at 10987 Main Street in Huntley. Participants are reminded to bring their license plate numbers for presentation to Illinois Tollway officials and should be prepared for potential wait times.

Illinois Tollway officials will facilitate the transition to the new sticker technology without disrupting existing I-PASS account activity. They will also address any questions regarding I-PASS accounts and "Pay by Plate" issues.

Once activated, the Sticker Tag can be used on the Illinois Tollway and E-Z Pass roadways in other states within 24 hours of activation. There is no deposit required for the Sticker Tag, and the $10 transponder deposit will transfer to the new account upon activation.

For further information about this event, contact Sen. Syverson’s office at (815) 987-7555 or Rep. Keicher’s office at (815) 748-3494.
