State Representative John M. Cabello recently hosted two tax appeal seminars, attracting over 100 attendees from Winnebago and Stephenson counties. The events were held at Loves Park City Hall and the Freeport Library.
The seminars aimed to equip property owners with the necessary knowledge and resources to appeal their property tax assessments. Rising property taxes have been a significant concern for local residents, as evidenced by the high turnout at these events.
