City of Loves Park Finance & Administration Committee met Sept. 19.

CALLED TO ORDER: 5:40 P.M.

MEMBERS PRESENT: John Jacobson, John Pruitt, Dan Jacobson

MEMBERS ABSENT: Mark Peterson

ALSO PRESENT: Mayor Greg Jury, Attorney Gino Galluzzo, A. Marie Holmes, Robert Schlensker, Doug Allton, Mike Owens, Little, Thompson, Fire Chief James Hart, Police Chief Mike McCammond

MINUTES APPROVAL: August 5, 2024

Alderman Pruitt moved to approve. Second by Alderman Dan Jacobson.

Motion Approved 3-0

ITEMS FOR CONSIDERATION

1. List of Bills: No questions or concerns.

2. Items for consideration.

A. A Resolution authorizing the Mayor to hire Ashley Hauser for the vacant position of Police Officer to be effective on August 20. 2024.

Alderman Pruitt moved to approve. Second by Alderman Dan Jacobson.

Motion approved 4-0

B. A Resolution authorizing the Police Chief to hire Marisa Anderson, Brandon Erdman, and Artis Taylor, to the position of Police Officer, to be effective on August 20, 2024.

Alderman Pruitt moved to approve. Second by Alderman Dan Jacobson.

Motion approved 3-0

C. A Resolution authorizing a land transfer between the City of Loves Park and the Rockford Park District Foundation.

Alderman Pruitt moved to approve. Second by Alderman Dan Jacobson.

Motion approved 3-0

D. An Ordinance amending Section 6-39 of the Loves Park Code of Ordinances regarding Persons Ineligible For License.

Alderman Pruitt moved to approve. Second by Alderman Dan Jacobson.

Motion approved 3-0

3. General Discussion.

4. Adjournment.

Alderman Pruitt moved to adjourn. Second by Alderman Dan Jacobson.
