Village of Rockton Budget & Finance Committee met Oct. 15.

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Chairman Winters called the regular meeting of the Budget & Finance Committee to order at 6:30 pm. Members present: Mayor Peterson, Sally Bennett, Scott Danielson, Connie Kieffer, Jodi May and Dave Winters

Staff present: Dan Barber, Dan Baumgartner (6:35 pm), Tricia Diduch and Chief Hollinger

Motion by Ms. May, second by Mr. Danielson, to waive the reading of and approve the minutes of October 1, 2024. All ayes. Motion approved 3-0.

PUBLIC COMMENT

None.

SPECIAL WARRANT CONSIDERATIONS

Ms. Kieffer stated that Ferguson Waterworks was over by $207.88.

RECOMMENDATION OF PAYMENT

Bills were reviewed and recommended for approval in the amount of $401,140.53.

MAYOR PETERSON

None.

VILLAGE TREASURER, SALLY BENNETT

Mrs. Bennett reviewed the September finance packet with the Committee. Mrs. Bennett stated that the Village is 33% into the current budget. Mrs. Bennett provided a chart of the Village’s current debt and when those payments go out along with the amounts of those payments. Mrs. Bennet also reviewed the revenue charts with the Committee.
