Soldier Field was dedicated in 1926 during Army vs. Navy game

Soldier Field, originally known as Municipal Grant Park Stadium, was officially dedicated on November 27, 1926. The dedication took place during the Army vs. Navy game and attracted a crowd of 110,000 people. Prior to this event, the stadium had been renamed Soldier Field on Veterans Day at the request of Chicago's Gold Star Mothers.
