Representative Joe C. Sosnowski (R) | Illinois General Assembly
State Representative Joe Sosnowski of Rockford has expressed his condolences following the death of former State Representative Ron Wait. Wait, who represented Belvidere, passed away on Monday.
Sosnowski stated, “I am saddened to hear of the passing of my predecessor, former State Representative Ron Wait. He was hugely instrumental in so many ways in Boone County and the surrounding area, and he will be missed. Rest in peace.”
Ron Wait served in the Illinois House of Representatives for two separate periods: from 1983 to 1993 and then from 1995 to 2011.
