Rockford announces public hearings for CAPER and plan amendments

The City of Rockford is set to hold two public hearings in March. The hearings are scheduled for Wednesday, March 19, 2025. The first session will take place at 11:00 am at Katie’s Cup, located at 502 7th St, Rockford, IL. The second session is planned for 5:30 pm at the City Council Chambers on the second floor of City Hall at 425 E State St, Rockford, IL.

During these sessions, the city will present details from its 2025 Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER). Additionally, substantial amendments to the city's 2025-2029 Consolidated Plan and the 2025 Annual Action Plan will be discussed.
