David L. Syverson, Illinois State Senator for 35th District | Facebook
State Senator Dave Syverson is urging residents of the 35th District to participate in local fairs and festivals as the fair season continues. In recent days, Syverson attended the Boone County Fair in Belvidere and the Hampshire Coon Creek Parade in Hampshire. He plans to visit additional events throughout the district over the coming weeks.
Several upcoming events are scheduled, including the Winnebago County Fair from August 13 to 17 in Pecatonica, DeKalb Corn Fest from August 22 to 24 in DeKalb, and Sandwich Fair from September 3 to 7 in Sandwich. Residents are also encouraged to attend the Illinois State Fair, which runs from August 7 to 17 at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield.
Syverson has represented Illinois' 35th Senate District since his election in 1993, succeeding Christine J. Johnson.
