The campaign committee Police Benevolent & Protective Assn (PBPA) Unit 6 owes a $700 fine imposed on Sept. 11, 2013, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $2,150 with Terrence W. Peterson listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show six area campaign committees owe a combined total of $48,340 in pending fines.
