Q1 real estate sales report: Poplar Grove

Median prices rose in Poplar Grove over last year, and are up 21.1 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to first quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From January to March, 19 homes sold in Poplar Grove for a median price of $210,000. That's 56 percent higher than median home sale prices for the first quarter of 2017.

In the first quarter, 1 home in Poplar Grove was in foreclosure.

Median property tax for homeowners in Poplar Grove was $4,890.53 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 3.6 percent of their home's value in taxes.
