Judson University issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
Judson University will welcome public relations professional Lori Perry Heiselman of the award-winning PR firm, Biscuit Media Group, during Homecoming weekend. Biscuit’s CEO and founder will be the guest speaker for the ninth annual Network Night event, which kicks off the annual Homecoming calendar and offers the perfect opportunity for local leaders to join with Judson students, staff and administrators for an evening of inspirational ideas.
Network Night will be Thursday, Sept. 27, at 6:30 p.m. in Lindner Tower’s Reed Room (1151 N. State St., Elgin). The event is free and open to the public.
“Lori has lived her life as a relationship-builder. She is the 'real deal' and cares deeply about people, models servant leadership and has built a successful career by working hard and caring deeply,” says Judson’s Director of Alumni Relations Bonnie Bienert. “Lori brings energy, passion and insight to our Alumni Board, and you will leave Network Night inspired and equipped to take your next career and life steps!”
Heiselman graduated from Judson in 1993 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She now runs her public relations firm along with her husband, Chris. In 2016, the online hub Expertise, named Biscuit Media Group as one of the top PR firms in Nashville.
Heiselman specializes in strategic marketing, social media, mobile marketing and publicity and represents people in music, writing and film careers to the faith and family markets. Her projects have ranged from faith-based projects and social justice to nonprofit causes and celebrity initiatives.
