Loves Park Police Department issued the following announcement on Sept. 28.
On Monday, September 24th, 2018, the Loves Park City Council approved the hiring of Brady Bailey and Jordan Hayes, for the position of Police Officer, with the Loves Park Police Department.
Officers Bailey and Hayes will next attend 560 hours of basic law enforcement training, through the State of Illinois, by going to the Macon County Law Enforcement Training Center, in Decatur. Once that is complete, they will return to the police department, as patrol officers, and train alongside a field training officer for an additional 640 hours. Once that is complete, Officers Bailey and Hayes will be ready for solo patrol.
We want to issue a huge congratulations to Officers Brady Bailey and Jordan Hayes and welcome them aboard the Police Department! Also, we would like to thank the Loves Park City Council and Mayor Jury for the new officers
