Loves Park Police Department issued the following announcement on Nov. 10.
On Monday, 11/05/2018, Loves Park Police Officer Josh Hecker was promoted to the rank of Sergeant, at the meeting of the Loves Park City Council. Sgt. Hecker started with the department in May of 2007, and has worked in the Patrol Division the past 10 years. He will now be assigned to the night shift Patrol Division, as a Sergeant. Congratulations to Sgt. Hecker!!!
