Approve The Committee Of The Whole Minutes: December 17, 2018.

Ordinance – Chairman Trustee Nancy Belt.

Chairman’s Report:

Unfinished Business:

1. Continued committee discussion regarding the number of Class L Liquor Licenses and Licenses on Gaming Machines issued in the Village of Cherry Valley.

New Business:

Public Works Chairman - Trustee David Schroeder.

Engineer’s Report:

1. Project Updates – Mr. Dennis McMullen.

Unfinished Business:

1. Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board approval of the revised 2019-2022 Garbage Services Request for Proposals (RFP) and to authorize Village staff to distribute this RFP.

2. Continued committee discussion regarding obtaining and approving an HVAC Service Agreement for 806 East State Street (Village Hall) to maintain and service the Village’s Boilers and Air Conditioning Equipment.

New Business:

1. Committee discussion regarding the possibility of the Village of Cherry Valley working with the Rockford Park District regarding drainage issues near our Swanson Park Neighborhhood. Discussion led by Mr. Dennis McMullen.

2. Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board approval for sending Public Works Employees Catherine O’Hearn and Andy Wesseln to Class C & D Water Operations Training in Geneva, Illinois on January 29 and 30, 2019, and also on February 26 and 27, 2019. Cost of this training is $600.00 per person ($1200.00 total) from line item 5195 Water. Meal Allowances for this training are $100.00 per person ($200.00 total) for the four days of training from line item 5200 Water.

Committee discussion and possible committee action regarding a Request for a Variance to Section 82-55 and Section 82-7(f)(2) of the Code of Ordinances for the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois, to allow a fence on the southwest side of the house per the drawing submitted to the Village for the property commonly known as 1206 Griggs Road, Rockford, IL61108. PIN: 12-25-353-001.
