Ordinance – Chairman Trustee Nancy Belt.

Chairman’s Report:

Unfinished Business:

1. Continued committee discussion and possible committee action regarding the number of Class L Liquor Licenses and Licenses on Gaming Machines issued in the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois.

2. Continued committee discussion and possible committee action regarding Chapter 38 Manufactured Homes and Trailers, of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois. (Last discussed on 10/23/17).

3. Continued committee discussion and possible committee action regarding Chapter 82 Zoning, Section 82-2 to Section 82-14 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Committee discussion regarding Chapter 18 Animals, Section 18-3 Prohibited animals; exceptions of the Code of Ordinances of the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois.

2. Committee discussion and possible committee action regarding a Class“F”Liquor permit for Granite City Food and Brewery, 7140 Harrison Ave, Rockford Illinois, to cater an event with alcohol on March 1 & 2, 2019.

Public Works - Chairman Trustee David Schroeder. Engineer’s Report:

1. Project Updates.

Unfinished Business:

1. Continued committee discussion and a possible motion to send to the Village Board regarding obtaining and approving an HVAC Service Agreement for 806 East State Street (Village Hall) to maintain and service the Village’s Boilers and Air Conditioning Equipment.

2. An update regarding the possibility of the Village of Cherry Valley working with the Rockford Park District regarding drainage issues near our Swanson Park Neighborhood.

NEW BUSINESS:

1. Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board to authorize C.E.S. Inc. to go out for bids for the Baumann Park Path Project with a bid opening on March 25, 2019.

1. Motion that the Committee of the Whole approve the request from the Recreation Board for $1,000.00 for the Easter Candy Scramble Event to be held on April 21, 2019 from line item 5260 Building & Grounds.

1. Committee discussion regarding the potential forming of a Boone County multi- jurisdictional SWAT team and Cherry Valley Police Department’s involvement in it.

2. Committee discussion regarding an update on the 911 PSAP Agreement and related potential costs.

3. Committee discussion regarding an update on the Full Time Officer salary line item in the village’s upcoming FY2019-2020 Budget as it pertains to the Secure America contract and IDOT Traffic Safety Grants.

2. Committee discussion and a motion to send to the Village Board to approve a transfer of $5,000.00 from the village’s FY2018-2019 General Fund Budget to the Park Improvement Fund and authorize Treasurer Karen Melloch to complete this transfer.

3. Committee discussion and review of the village’s tentative FY2019-2020 Administration Budget.

Committee discussion and possible committee action regarding a request for a Variance under Section 82-55 of the Code of Ordinances for the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois, to allow a 5'4" side yard setback along the north property line contrary to Section 82-10(a)(1) which requires a 6' side yard setback for the existing building for the property commonly known as 2823 Swanson Parkway, Rockford, Illinois 61109. PIN: 16-03-251-003

2. Committee discussion and possible committee action regarding a request for a Variance under Section 82-55 of the Code of Ordinances for the Village of Cherry Valley, Illinois, to allow a 17" projection of the gutters and overhang on the north side of the building contrary to the 8" allowed by Section 82-10(b)(1) for the property commonly known as 2823 Swanson Parkway, Rockford, Illinois 61109. PIN: 16-03-251-003
