City of Rockford issued the following announcement on March 2.
We're now taking applications for commissioners for the Community Relations Commission. The commission, whose focus is on community engagement, will help the City better achieve its goals of involving the community, improving communication, and fostering positive relations.
The Commission will consist of 11 members, which will reflect the City’s diversity and will act as an advisory board to the mayor and council.
