Republican John F Sweeney's election campaign committee, Citizens for John F Sweeney, spent $10,446 in the first quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Sweeney's committee spent the most on production media expenses in the quarter, with all those payments ($3,240) going to Cain and Company in Rockford. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Sweeney's committee spent its money in the first quarter.
