How did Tom Klein spend campaign funds in the first quarter?

Republican Tom Klein's election campaign committee, Citizens for Tom Klein, spent $2,918 in the first quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Klein's committee spent the most on gift cards for union playdays in the quarter, with all those payments ($600) going to St. Bridget's School in Loves Park. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Klein's committee spent its money in the first quarter.
