Citizens for Tyler Smith owes $13,450 in fines

The campaign committee Citizens for Tyler Smith owes a $5,000 fine imposed on Aug. 31, 2016, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $8,450 with Tyler Smith listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 13 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $98,800 in pending fines.
