Rockford Police Assistant Deputy Chief Carla Redd, Officer Sherrell Woods, and ROCK Officer Patrice Turner participated in the 5th Annual "Women of the Shield" brunch in Naperville today. The organization seeks to inspire and encourage women in law enforcement professions. The Rockford Police Department has dozens of female officers in a variety of roles, but we'd love more!
