Capron home prices rise in the third quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2017 in Capron rose by $29,250 while total sales decreased by 66.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2017, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $117,500 - a 33.1% increase over the $88,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Capron in the third quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in Capron for 2017 was $2,775.49. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,783.50. This marks an decrease of 0.3%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.4%.
