Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on April 1.
Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Justin Johnson, OD, to the Optometry staff of the Mercyhealth Vision Center-Perryville, 3401 N. Perryville Rd., Rockford. Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Illinois Optometric Association.
His special interests include:
Comprehensive eye exams
Contact lenses
Diabetes
Glaucoma
Macular degeneration
Acute ocular disease
“My goal to provide exceptional eye care begins with compassionately listening to my patients concerns,” said Johnson. “Successful treatments can then be accomplished through education and including the patient as a vital part of their health care team.”
Johnson received his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern College of Optometry, Memphis, TN.
