SwedishAmerican Hospital issued the following announcement on April 19.
SwedishAmerican is pleased to announce that its School of Radiography has received maximum eight-year accreditation status after a thorough review by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
“As a program, we are very proud to receive this award,” said program director at the School of Radiography, Connie Salsbury. “JRCERT accreditation ensures that programs provide a high level of education and promote the development of high quality radiographers.”
SwedishAmerican’s School of Radiography is a hospital-based certificate program. Upon completion of the program, students are awarded a Baccalaureate of Science from the University of St. Francis and a certificate from SwedishAmerican.
“A student in the program receives the level of education to become a competent, compassionate and skilled radiographer during their two years at SwedishAmerican,” said clinical coordinator Stefanie Gardner. “SwedishAmerican takes pride in our graduates and their success.”
