Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on June 26.
The 2019 Mercyhealth RMH Auxiliary Scholarship Presentation Reception was held on May 23 at Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital and Physician Clinic–Rockton.
“Mercyhealth has a passion for making lives better, and we take great pride in encouraging and supporting students who are pursuing a career in health care,” said Rosalie England, Mercyhealth Volunteer Services Manager.
A total of $16,500 was awarded to eight students who are pursuing a career in the health care field.
The 2019 recipients are:
Jennifer Aldama – University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Health Care
Naraa Bravo – Rockford University, Nursing
Arely Ceniceros – Rock Valley College, Nursing
Destinee Maynard – Rock Valley College, Nursing
Morgan Miller – St. Ambrose University, Nursing
Jennifer Quintas – Rockford University, Nursing
Mackenzie Smith – University of Iowa, Radiation Sciences
Vanessa Tellez – Saint Anthony College of Nursing
