City of Loves Park Codes & Regulations Committee met May 6.
Here is the minutes as provided by the committee:
I. Call to Order – the meeting was called to order by Alderman Peterson, Chairman at 6:12 PM.
Committee Members Present – Alderman Little, Alderman Warden, Alderman Puckett. Also in Attendance – Nathan Bruck, Steve Thompson, Rebecca Adams, Barb King, Steve Zantow, Joe Giacone
II. The minutes of the April 8, 2019 meeting were approved upon a motion by Alderman Little, seconded by Alderman Warden. Vote 4 – 0 to approve.
III. Items For Consideration
A. Special Event Permit application for Keller Williams Realty Signature, 4201 Galleria Drive, to hold an outdoor event with live music on June 28, 2019 from 6 – 10 PM. Motion to approve by Alderman Little. Second by Alderman Warden. Vote 4 – 0 to approve.
B. Special Event Permit application from Barb King, 401 Merrill Avenue, to hold an outdoor graduation party with amplified music on Saturday, May 25, 2019 from 1 – 5 PM. Motion to approve by Alderman Warden. Second by Alderman Little. Vote 4 – 0 to approve.
C. Request for a reclassification of a liquor license from Class F to Class A for Bullpen 777 Bar & Slots 6450 E. Riverside Blvd. Motion to approve by Alderman Little. Second by Alderman Warden. Vote 4 – 0 to approve.
IV. General Discussion – Alderman Little addressed the possible need for permits for estate sales and garage sales. Nathan to look at what may exist which is working in surrounding communities and report back to this Committee.
V. Public Comment – None
VI. Adjournment – the meeting was adjourned at 6:40 PM upon motions by Alderman Puckett and Alderman Warden. Vote 4 – 0 in favor.
