The data shows that the seven released offenders living in the Rockton zip code were men. The median age of the parolees was 43. The youngest parolee was a 25-year-old man convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018, and the oldest was a 60-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2016.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Michael Johnson. He was convicted of a sex crime in 2013, when he was 51 years old. He is now 57.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
