Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on July 18.
Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Moamen Al Zoubi, MD, to the Infectious Disease Medicine and Immunology staff of the Mercyhealth Physician Clinic–Riverside and Rockton.
His special interests include:
Antimicrobial stewardship
Treatment of multi-drug resistant organisms
General infectious disease care
Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
Dr. Al Zoubi earned his medical degree at the University of Kalamoon, Deirateh, Syria. He completed his residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Department of Internal Medicine, Chicago. He also completed an Infectious Disease and Immunology fellowship at UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, MA. Dr. Al Zoubi is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
