Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on Oct. 2.
Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Mohammad Amir, DO, and Jermaine White, MD, to the Emergency Medicine staff of Javon Bea Hospital–Riverside and Rockton, Rockford.
Dr. Amir aims for clear communication. “I’m blessed to take part in my patients’ care. They often share their secrets with me, and I can use those to turn their visit into a positive experience. I aim to empower my patients, and help them take control of their health and social welfare. I do this by communicating in plain language, so they can easily understand what might be a complex health problem.” He earned his medical degree at Midwestern University, Downers Grove, IL, and served his residency at Henry Ford Hospitals, Detroit.
Dr. White has a straightforward patient care philosophy: “I try to keep it simple: Treat patients with respect, listen to their issue, and do what is right.” He earned his medical degree at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, and completed his residency at the University of Chicago.
