City of Loves Park Codes & Regulations Committee met July 29.
Here is the agenda provided by the committee:
I. Call to Order – the meeting was called to order by Alderman Peterson, Chairman at 6:13 PM.
Committee Members Present – Alderman Little, Alderman Puckett. Also in Attendance – Alderman John Pruitt, Nathan Bruck, Steve Blake, Dave Nolley, Darrell Cook
II. The minutes of the July 15, 2019 meeting were approved upon a motion by Alderman Little, second by Alderman Puckett. Vote 3 – 0 to approve.
III. Items For Consideration
A. Special Event Permit application from Steve Blake of Windsor Pizza and Macktown Lions Club to hold a fundraiser for Gigi’s Playhouse at 1034 Windsor Rd. on Saturday, August 17, 2019 from 11 AM – 6 PM.
Motion by Alderman Little to approve contingent upon supplying a permission letter from the school district showing permission to use their parking lot for parking for the event. Second by Alderman Puckett. Vote 3 – 0 to approve.
IV. General Discussion – Alderman Little addressed charging a fee for estate sales and applying the funds received to creating neighborhood identification signs. Nate will bring information and data from other communities to the next meeting.
V. Public Comment – None
VI. Adjournment – the meeting was adjourned at 6:36 PM upon motions by Alderman Little and Alderman Puckett. Vote 3 – 0 in favor.
