Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Dr. Matthew Groenwald to the Radiology staff of Javon Bea Hospital–Riverside and Rockton, Rockford, IL, and Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center–Harvard, Harvard, IL.
Dr. Groenwald’s special interests include:
New, minimally invasive treatment options to advance patient care through innovation
All aspects of interventional oncology
Dialysis access work
Treating men with enlarged prostates
Treating women with symptomatic fibroid uterus
The creativity that can be brought to patient care
Dr. Groenwald earned his medical degree New York Medical College, Valhalla, NY. He then served his Diagnostic Radiology residency at Yale University Department of Radiology and Biomedical Imaging, New Haven, CT, and his Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology residency at Yale New Haven Hospital, New Haven, CT.
