Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.
Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Dr. Rosario Carrasco to the Radiology staff of Javon Bea Hospital–Riverside and Rockton, Rockford.
After earning her medical degree at the University of Illinois School of Medicine, Peoria, Dr. Carrasco served her Radiology residency at Indiana University, Indianapolis. Dr. Carrasco also completed a Pediatric Radiology fellowship at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis.
