A. Public Hearing on Annexations of 4801 Linden Road and 5055 Linden Road
Mayor McNamara called upon Alderman Chiarelli to conduct a Public Hearing on the Annexations of 4801 Linden Road and 5055 Linden Road. Alderman Chiarelli called the Public Hearing to order at 7:27 p.m. pursuant to 65 Illinois Compiled Statues 5/11-15.1-3 on the Annexation Agreements for the properties located at 4801 Linden Road and 5055 Linden Road.
Alderman Chiarelli asked for questions or comments from the council members and the general public with regard to the Annexation Agreements. Hearing none, the Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:28 p.m.
The meeting returned to regular business at 7:29 p.m.

Mayor McNamara congratulated Alderman Beach and his wife, Sonja, on their 60th Wedding Anniversary.
Mayor McNamara extended his condolences to the family and friends of former Rockford Alderman Kenneth Staaf who passed away on December 19, 2019.

1. Appointment of Leslie West to the Airport Board to replace K. Edward Copeland whose term will expire in February 2020. Ms. West will serve a five-year term ending in January 2025. (Pursuant to Rule 18, this appointment will be up for passage after January 15, 2020.)

Alderman Chiarelli moved to convene into Closed Session in order to discuss labor negotiation and pending litigation matters, seconded by Alderman McNeely. MOTION PREVAILED with a roll call vote (Aldermen Thompson-Kelly and Beck were absent). The meeting convened into Closed Session at 7:32 p.m.
Mayor McNamara called the meeting back into Open Session at 8:24 p.m. and the following aldermen were present: Durkee, Gasparini, Tuneberg, Frost, Hervey, Ervins, Hoffman, Rose, Beach, Quinonez, McNeely and Chiarelli (Aldermen Thompson-Kelly and Beck were absent).
RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]
