Rockford Police Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 18.
We're looking to expand our ROCK (Resident Officer Community Keeper) House Program this year to a third house. The newest house is located in the Jackson Oaks neighborhood, north of SwedishAmerican Hospital. In this program, a Rockford police officer lives rent free in the neighborhood he or she patrols.
