Mercy Rockford Health System issued the following announcement on March 3.
Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Dr. Benjamin David LeMoine to the Radiology staff of Javon Bea Hospital–Riverside, Rockford, and Mercyhealth Hospital and Medical Center–Harvard.
Dr. LeMoine enjoys working with young patients. “I try to envision my patients as family. If the patient were my mother, father, child, sibling or grandparent, how would I want them to be treated? I use this as my primary guiding principle for day-to-day clinical decisions. I also love working with children! Completing a residency in pediatrics makes me better equipped to provide pediatricians the answers they need when ordering a radiology exam.”
After earning his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Dr. LeMoine completed a Pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and a Radiology residency at Presence Saint Francis Hospital, Evanston, IL. He also completed a Pediatric Radiology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Colorado, Aurora.
Dr. LeMoine is certified by the American Board of Radiology with added certification in Diagnostic Radiology. His special interests include pediatric radiology, ultrasound and barium studies, and working with pediatricians when they order radiology exams
