Win-bur-Sew Fire Protection District responded to 85 calls in 2018 - 16.4 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Win-bur-Sew included 58 fires - 34 structure fires, four vehicle fires and 20 other fires.

In all, the department saw $376,500 in fire loss - or about $6,491 per fire.

The department also received 27 false calls.

One fire service member was injured in non fire-related incidents.

The Win-bur-Sew Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $1,223,701 in 2018.
