GOP Candidate Paul Hofmann lost his bid for District 34 Senate seat to Republican incumbent Steve Stadelman.
Hofmann conceded in a post on his Facebook page.
“The people of District 34 chose Steve Stadelman to be our voice in the Illinois Senate,” Hofmann wrote. “I ran this campaign by focusing on the issues and the policies that I believe will bring health to this state and its people.”
Hofmann acknowledged the challenges the state is facing and wished Stadelman the very best as he works to address pertinent issues.
“The Illinois Legislature faces some huge challenges and I pray for Steve and our community as they tackle these issues,” he wrote.
Hofmann also thanked his supporters and vowed to continue to support his community.
