Republican Kathleen Jo Hansen has conceded in the race for House District 67.
“I want to thank my volunteers and supporters. Without them my candidacy would have been impossible.”
Hansen was unable to unseat Democrat incumbent Maurice West II.
“I believed that no candidate should be on the ballot unopposed and that democracy means presenting differing views to voters to let them decide. They decided, and I accept their decision.”
Hansen said she hopes the state can come together.
“It's time for all of us to come together and work to solve the problems that this state faces,” she said.
