SwedishAmerican Hospital issued the following announcement on Jan. 13.
SwedishAmerican will be evaluated in February by the American Nurses Credentialing Center for re-designation of Magnet® recognition.
Magnet recognition is a reflection of nursing excellence, teamwork, and superiority in patient care. To achieve the re-designation, organizations must pass a rigorous and lengthy process that requires widespread participation from leadership and staff, including on-site visits and applications.
SwedishAmerican’s virtual site visit will be February 22-24.
