City Attorney Angela Hammer called the meeting to order at 7:55 p.m. Aldermen Tuneberg, Frost, Hervey, Ervins and Hanley appeared via teleconference.
Alderman Rose moved to nominate Alderman Logemann to serve as Mayor Pro Tem for this meeting. Alderman Frost seconded the motion. MOTION PREVAILED with a unanimous roll call vote (Alderman Thompson-Kelly was absent).

1. 2021-57-CR - Committee recommends approval of the Development Agreement between the City of Rockford and SiFi Networks Rockford LLC for utilization of public way (right-of-way) for the establishment of a citywide fiber optic network system. The Legal Director shall prepare the appropriate ordinance.
Alderman Rose, on behalf of the Planning and Development Committee, read in the committee report and placed it up for passage.

V. OFFICERS REPORTS
A. Alderman Quinonez
Alderman Quinonez thanked the council members for approving the appointment of Dr. Rudy Valdez to the Rockford Fire and Police Board of Commissioners. He expressed his appreciation to Mayor McNamara for recommending Dr. Valdez for the position and he mentioned this is the first time a Latino has served on the Rockford Fire and Police Board of Commissioners.
B. Alderman Rose
Alderman Rose congratulated Fire Chief Derek Bergsten on his new position and thanked him for his incredible leadership, hard work and years of service to the City of Rockford. He stated Chief Bergsten will be greatly missed.

Alderman Hervey moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman Durkee.
