1. Authorization to Place for Sale City owned parcel at 1020 North Avenue 11-14- 332-014, a vacant parcel

City staff is seeking authorization to place for sale this city-owned property, with preference given to adjoining property owners. Pursuant to state law, 65 ILCS 5/11-76-2, the City will publish the property for sale in the local newspaper.

2. Amendments to Floodplain Requirements in Articles 1 & 4 of the City of Rockford Stormwater Ordinance (Chapter 109)

3. Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Rockford and Rock Valley College for Police Services Response Plan

4. Zoning Board of Appeals recommends approval for a Special Use Permit for a Planned Unit Development consisting of 240 apartment units and a 4-story, 146 room assisted/independent living and memory care facility in a C-1, Limited Office Zoning District at 6654 Garrett Lane (Chris Herschaleb for Rockford Living Community, LLC/Applicant)

5. 1731 National Avenue

a. Zoning Board of Appeals recommends approval for a Variation to allow a 24 feet by 24 feet attached garage addition to the north side of the residence in the front yard along National Avenue; and

b. Zoning Board of Appeals recommends denial of a Variation to reduce the required side yard setback from six (6) feet to three (3) feel along the west property line for the 24 feet by 24 feet attached garage addition to the north side of the residence in the front yard along National Avenue in a R 1, Single Family Zoning District at 1731 National Avenue (Joycelyn Speight/Applicant)

6. 2525 Auburn Street

Liquor and Tobacco Advisory Board recommends approval for the Sale of Liquor by the Drink in conjunction with a restaurant and video gaming terminals in a C 3, General Commercial Zoning District at 2525 Auburn Street (Alicia M. Yeverino/Applicant)

III. RESOLUTIONS

1. Chow Down Food Truck Festival

This event is scheduled for Saturday, July 24th from 1 p.m. - 9 p.m. The event will be held at 3915 East State Street in the old Magna parking lot.

2. St. Edwards Annual Summerfest

This event is scheduled on July 25th from 11 a.m. – 8 p.m. The event will be held on the grounds of St. Edwards Church located at 3004 11th Street.

3. Festa Italiana

This event is scheduled on the following dates and times:

Friday, August 6th 5 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Saturday, August 7th Noon – 11 p.m.

Sunday, August 8th 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.

The event will be held on the grounds of Boylan Catholic High School located at 4000 St. Francis Drive.

4. Tamalefest
