1. Public Hearing on the Pre-Annexation of 1203 Meridian Road.
Mayor McNamara called upon Alderman Rose to conduct the Public Hearing. Alderman Rose called the Public Hearing to order at 7:37 p.m. pursuant to 65 Illinois Compiled Statues 5/11-15.1-3 for the Pre-Annexation Agreement for the property located at 1203 South Meridian Road.
Alderman Rose asked for questions or comments from the council members and the general public with regard to the Pre-Annexation Agreement. Hearing none, the Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:38 p.m.
The meeting returned to regular business at 7:39 p.m.

b. Variations to allow deviations to the Zoning Ordinance per the Pre Annexation Agreement at 1203 S. Meridian Road (AG Feed Services, LLC c/o William and Kristi Gottman/Applicant). Subject to conditions. The Legal Director shall prepare the appropriate ordinance.

Subject to conditions. The Legal Director shall prepare the appropriate ordinance. (LAID OVER MAY 24, 2021)
Alderman Rose, on behalf of the Code and Regulation Committee, read in the committee report. Alderman Logemann then made a motion to lay this item over, seconded by Alderman Bonne. MOTION PREVAILED with a unanimous roll call vote.

VIII. OFFICERS REPORTS
A. Alderman Tuneberg
Alderman Tuneberg reported the City Market on Friday night was a great success. He encouraged residents to attend the City Market and support local vendors and businesses that have been impacted by the pandemic.
Mayor McNamara mentioned over 5,000 people registered for the City Market last week.
B. Alderman Rose
Alderman Rose thanked Mitch Leatherby and Taylor Hennelly for their efforts with planting trees throughout the City of Rockford.
C. Alderman McNeely
Alderman McNeely announced that Alderman Wilkins was the new Chairman of the Democratic Caucus and she stated Alderman Prunty would serve as the new Vice Chair and Alderman Rose as the Secretary. She also announced that Alderman Bonne would be representing the Democratic Caucus during the redistricting process. She stated she was looking forward to working with all of them.
D. Alderman Torina
Alderman Torina thanked the RACVB and CRE8IV Transformational Art for their efforts with adding additional murals in our community. She expressed her excitement about the beautification the murals would bring to the Fifth Ward.
E. Alderman Quinonez
Alderman Quinonez thanked Director Kyle Saunders for his involvement with a neighborhood meeting in the Eleventh Ward. He stated Director Saunders did an excellent job and he encouraged the council members to invite him to their neighborhood meetings.
F. Alderman Wilkins
Alderman Wilkins reported the Seventh Ward recently had a neighborhood clean-up in the Coronado Haskell area and she thanked the Rockford Fire Department for providing water.

Alderman Beach moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Alderman Durkee.
