Find Out What RVC’s Center for Learning in Retirement Has to Offer

The Rock Valley College Center for Learning in Retirement will be hosting its Annual Meeting and fall kick-off on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (doors open at 9:30 a.m.) at RVC’s Bengt Sjostrom (Starlight) Theatre on the college’s main campus, 3301 North Mulford Road, Rockford.

This event is FREE, open to the public, and a great opportunity for those age 50 and older to find out what the Center for Learning in Retirement (CLR) has to offer. CLR provides many interesting, educational, and fun lifelong learning possibilities. New this fall is the option of both in-person and online classes, bus trips, social events, special interest groups, and much more!

By attending the Annual Meeting, you will be among the first to receive the Fall 2021 CLR Catalog and be able to register early for any of the 95 fall classes. You’ll also meet the CLR Advisory Committee, learn about volunteer opportunities, and hear about the exciting things the program has planned for this fall.

You won’t want to miss the fun musical program by talented musician Ron Holm! He’ll entertain with lively songs, guitar music, and harmonica playing. There will also be door prize drawings and complimentary refreshments for those in attendance!

Close parking will be available in RVC Lot #1 off of the Mulford Road entrance to the college. Golf cart transportation will be available if needed.
