Swedish American Hospital recently issued the following announcement.
Breastfeeding Basics Class
November 18, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
January 20, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
March 17, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
May 19, 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Classes meet the third Thursday in January, March, May, July, September and November. Breastfeeding basics is taught by a board-certified lactation consultant who can help you learn the advantage of breastfeeding, strategies to early success, how to pump and offer breastfeeding support resources for after your hospital discharge.
We encourage you to bringa support person with you as wella s a doll or teddy bear for positioning practice.
Class location: UW Health Women and Children's Hospital, 1350 Charles St., Rockford, IL 61104, Schwartz Auditorium, 1st floor.
