Public Speakers
1. Matthew Cacci spoke about Ordinance Section 16 -149 and the trucks with utility trailers, metal scrapping trucks, auto repair, large box trucks, and semi-trailers on their streets, in drive-ways and yards. Mr. Cacci thanked the City for their consideration regarding the ordinance.
2. Rev. Earl Dotson, Sr. recited scripture and spoke about racism and the need for investing in the west side of Rockford.
3. Kenneth Dickens spoke about having a meeting with Mayor McNamara to discuss the needs of the black and Latino community.
4. John Tac Brantley recited scripture and spoke about transforming Rockford.
II. COMMITTEE REPORTS
A. 2021-286-CR - Proposed purchase of property at XXX New Milford School Road (Part of Pins 15-23-276-001, 15-23-276-002 and 15-24-151-025) in the amount of $232,200. The property is being sold by Dorothy L. Evans Living Trust and Evans Family Trust. The property is being purchased by the Water Division for the future site of the Well 24 water treatment plant addition as identified in the FY 2022-2026 Capital Improvement Program.
