City of Rockford Traffic Commission met March 9.

Here is the agenda provided by the commission:

III. TRAFFIC REQUESTS

A. New Business

1. Request in the 4th Ward, by City Staff, to establish traffic control at the intersection of McFarland Road and Forest Glen Drive.

2. Request in the 10th Ward, by Elizabeth Huffner, 705 Lundvall Avenue, to establish an all-way stop at the intersection of Rural Street and Roland Avenue, thus repealing the existing traffic control of Roland Avenue stopping for Rural Street.

3. Request in the 10th Ward, by Elizabeth Huffner, 705 Lundvall Avenue, to establish an all-way stop at the intersection of Rural Street and Westchester Drive, thus repealing the existing traffic control of Westchester Drive stopping for Rural Street.

4. Request in the 3rd Ward, by City Staff, to establish traffic control at the intersection of S. 3rd Street and Grove Street, thus repealing the existing the one-way stop control of S. 3rd Street stopping for Grove Street.

5. Request in various wards, by City Staff, to establish mid-block crossings at the following locations:

a) 15th Avenue at Spring Court

b) N. 6th Street, 140 feet south of Benton Street

c) Charles Street, 830 feet west of 28th Street

d) 20th Street, 200 feet south of Fruitland Drive

e) 9th Street, 290’ north of Charles Street
