Livingston Street Project/Water Plant Discussion
Due to employees being out on leave and on planned vacations, the Water Department will be short on help this summer. There will be a lot of overtime accrued by water employees while completing the Livingston Street project. It was determined that the Water Department may pull from any other department for help. Brandon stated that he would create a list of odd jobs that, if done by other departments, would alleviate the workload for water employees and allow more time to be spent on the Livingston Street project.
Unfinished Business
Brandon stated that he spoke with the Illinois EPA and was informed that the spoils from the Livingston Street project may not be dumped on the south side of the levy. Currently, he has no place to take the spoils. He added that many complications have popped up while installing the manhole at West Lake Drive and West Lake Terrace.
