Auburn Community Unit School District #10 Board of Education met April 20.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The following members answered roll call at the regular meeting of the Auburn Board of Education. Present: John Megginson, Brad Smith, Jamie Kuhlmann, Carl Kessler, Josh Smith, and Matt Kern. Absent: Michael Bates. Also present were Darren Root, Mark Dudley, Christy Bailey, Dave Bates, Matt Grimm, and Amy Donaldson. Present: Melinda Marques, Sandy Parrish, Sandy Jones, Anne Schmidt, Amber Kunz, Ben Kunz, Morgan Kunz, Lillian Waghorn, Aliya Rowe, Mattson Seelund, Donna Smargiassi, Tahney Fletcher, Tonya Busby, Erin Bidleman and Ruby Howard, secretary to the board.

Kessler moved to adopt the agenda. Kern seconded the motion. The voting was as follows:

Bates absent    Megginson yea

Kern yea          B. Smith yea

Kessler yea      J. Smith yea

Kuhlmann yea

There being 6 “yeas”, 0 “nays”, the president declared the motion carried.
