Auburn Community Unit School District #10 Board of Education met June 4.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

The following members answered roll call at the special meeting of the Auburn Board of Education:

Present: John Megginson, Jamie Kuhlmann, Carl Kessler, Josh Smith, and Matt Kern.

Absent: Michael Bates and Brad Smith. Also present were Darren Root and Joe Perry.

Kern moved to adopt the agenda. Kessler seconded the motion. The voting was as follows:

Bates absent        Megginson yea

Kern yea              B. Smith absent

Kessler yea          J. Smith yea

Kuhlmann yea

There being 5 “yeas”, 0 “nays”, the president declared the motion carried.

Joe Petty presented report on track/parking lot bid.

Kessler moved to accept parking lot/track bid. J. Smith seconded the motion. The voting was as follows:

Kern yea              B. Smith absent

Kessler yea          J. Smith yea

Kuhlmann yea

There being 5 “yeas”, 0 “nays”, the president declared the motion carried.

Kern moved to adjourn at 9:44 am. J. Smith seconded the motion. The voting was as follows:
