Village of Rockton Budget & Finance Committee met June 7.

Chairwoman May called the regular meeting of the Budget & Finance Committee to order at 6:30 pm. Members present: Mayor Peterson, Scott Danielson, Scott Fridly, Corine Hughes and Jodi May Staff present: Dan Barber and Justin York
Motion by Mr. Fridly, second by Mr. Danielson, to waive the reading of and approve the minutes of May 17, 2022. All ayes. Motion approved 3-0.
PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
SPECIAL WARRANT CONSIDERATIONS
None.
RECOMMENDATION OF PAYMENT
Bills were reviewed and recommended for approval in the amount of $301,551.06.
MAYOR PETERSON
None.
VILLAGE COLLECTOR, CORINE HUGHES
Ms. Hughes stated that there is not enough money to cover the bills, but that she should be receiving sales tax by the end of the week and will hold some of the bills. Ms. Hughes added that she received $28,000 at the end of May for property taxes.
JODI MAY, CHAIRWOMAN
Ms. May stated that Ordinance 2022-6: An Ordinance Providing the Appropriation of Funds for the Operation of the Village of Rockton for the Fiscal Year Beginning June 1, 2022 and Ending May 31, 2023 is up for approval at the Village Board meeting. The Committee was okay with this.
