Rep. Jeff Keicher (R-Sycamore) recently invited Illinois voters to choose the Illinois State Police for the ninth annual "America's Best Looking Cruiser Contest" hosted by the American Association of State Troopers (AAST).

Those looking to weigh in on the best-looking cruiser would have to cast their ballots before 4 p.m. CST on Aug. 25, Keicher said on Facebook.

"The top 13 states receiving votes will be featured on the respective months on the 2023 American Association of State Troopers Calendar," Keicher said on Aug. 9. "The top state will adorn the cover in addition to the month of January 2023."

For the calendar contest, state law-enforcement departments from throughout the United States are invited to submit an original picture that represents their state, according to WSILTV.

The winner of the competition will be featured on the cover of the next AAST calendar, together with 12 other cruisers.

The calendar contest is a fundraiser too. The American Association of State Troopers Foundation will receive all proceeds from the sales of the AAST calendar.

To join Keicher in supporting the Illinois State Police in the AAST Best Looking Cruiser contest, voters can visit SurveyMonkey; only one vote per device is allowed.

Elected to the Illinois House in 2018, Keicher has served on the Appropriations-Higher Education and Immigration & Human Rights committees, according to the Illinois House.
